No signal

The profound discovery that the static or white noise of an untuned analogue television set contains the left over signal from the birth of our universe has been a central point of departure for my work. No Signal refers to that often overlooked television channel that was at once simply garbled nonsense and at the same time the carrier of the news that the universe had landed. 

This extensive exhibition also marked the first public presentation of my pastel and charcoal drawings, shown alongside oil paintings and ink drawings.
