Stadium was my second solo exhibition in Aotearoa New Zealand, anchored by a focused exploration of geometric forms: the circle, the stadium shape, and its arcing variations. The exhibition brought together ceramic works and pastel drawings, unified by a shared visual language.

A key development in this body of work was the aesthetic shift from the drawings into the ceramics. The vibrant, flat colours and matte surfaces characteristic of the pastel drawings served as a guide for the ceramic forms, informing not only the palette, but also the surface treatment and overall sensibility of the pieces. In this way, Stadium became a dialogue between material disciplines, rooted in geometry and expanded through colour and form.
