Pattern Recognition

This series formed part of the 1s & 0s exhibition and was created using a layered subtractive process of erasure. Each work features vertical lines of stencilled dots, laid side by side in a wave-like formation that moves rhythmically across the page. At times, these patterns overlap, generating moiré-like effects of visual interference that suggests both complexity and disruption.
Conceptually and aesthetically, these works resonate with my ongoing explorations of white noise, static, and the elusive state of no signal. The repeated, disrupted marks evoke the tension between pattern and randomness, signal and noise, structure and breakdown, inviting reflection on the abstract textures of information itself.
