In this series, I alternate between intense fields of colour and subdued charcoal substrates, using stainless steel stencils to create precise, hard-edged erasures: circles, dashes, and linear fragments arranged in stacked, unstable columns. The resulting compositions suggest an abstracted digital landscape, a world of binary logic rendered in physical form, where ones and zeros become precariously balanced structures.

These stacks seem to occupy a space governed by an alternate physics, closely related to our own, where equilibrium is temporary and collapse is always imminent. The interaction between control and instability, precision and chance, reflects my ongoing interest in how digital systems can mirror natural processes, and how abstraction can carry the weight of structural and existential metaphor.
